Repairing damp

So thee is mould.... It's pretty far gone damp..
I've read some methods which seem extreme and costly.
Removing plastering and injecting chemical dpc
Removing bricks and relaying the dpc
Are there other cheaper options
I have read I can fit inject the chemical dpc. As I don't care about the plaster finish would this be possible?
The house will be fully renovated in a year so doesn't have to be pretty atm.

Before you consider injecting chemicals in to your foundations, please have a good nosey around http://www.heritage-house.org/managing-damp-in-old-buildings.html - Have a read of some of the horror stories and marketing bull spouted by some of the "experts" out there.
When you're done there, a few basic questions for you...- How old is the property ?
- Solid brick or cavity walls ?
- Are the gutters & drainpipes in good condition ?
- Is the ground level outside a reasonable distance below any DPC ?
- Have you had a "free" damp survey ?
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
