Easyjet baggage policy

Options
I recently booked flights on the EasyJet website for a mates birthday weekend and whilst doing so automatically clicked to add baggage at £44.00 before proceeding to pay.
Once I had paid I had realised that I did not need the baggage as my suitcase would fit in cabin and so sought to cancel the baggage and get a refund.
I spoke with someone on the EasyJet webchat (easiest way to get hold of someone) and was told that EasyJet would not refund me due to their policies.
Is this right or can I get my money back?
Very disgusted they can get away with this:mad::mad::mad:

Why don't you read the T&C's you agreed too when you paid?

Why not just put your bag in the hold anyway? (Put anything critical/important into a small bag to take on board with you).

Well I'm very disgusted that you accepted the Terms and Conditions when making your booking but now want to break them, but neither expression of disgust will get you any money back.
