Yes, it seems they don't want people like me anymore, and they are only giving out small limits these days to force people to preload/pay early.
I think their credit scoring requirements are pretty strict to get a decent limit - my mother applied for an Egg money card about a month ago and got a £5000 limit straight away, yet I got a £1000 limit (which is pretty hopeless).0 -
5000 straight away...wow! If you get a copy of your credit report it can help identify why a credit card company might not give you more.0
