How big is the budget? Here is a decent graphics card for £1099.00 https://www.geforce.co.uk/hardware/10series/titan-x/#buy-now
You had better ask your son for better specs, possibly get him to recommend a package, rather then you buy the wrong thing.
these people are often not the cheapest but its an indicator of where the money pits are https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pc-systems0 -

I think you need to be a bit more specific about what you want. I know it's confusing and a bit of a minefield if it's not something you're interested in...
But your question is a bit like saying, "I want a car that does driving; with good acceleration, a big petrol tank, and fuel injection." There are so many possible answers. It all depends on your budget, personal preferences and "driving style".
What is the computer going to be used for? What kind of budget do you have?
If by "streaming", you mean watching online video, then even a fairly low-spec PC will cope with that.0 -
I think your son is asking for the biggest and most expensive computer that you will buy him! This is not unusual...
Good advice above!
BTW your "1.7" is probably an i7, the abbreviation for "Intel Core i7". This CPU chip can, by itself, cost about £300...0 -
What is your budget?
BTW, I suggest you rate until AMD Zen out to make the decision.0
