I sold a collection only item the buyer has been a pain [ imgBuddyIcon1.gif

, not replying to messages then a whole host of excuses as to why she can't collect then the message can i post it . I said no as the hole point was its too bulky to post.
I asked her if she wants to cancel as she isn't even close to my area she has said yes so finally to my question do i cancel or should she ? Does it matter who does it ?

Having had a look at her feed back she has a habit of bidding then not paying theres a lot of "positive" negative feedback saying she doesnt pay.

You can cancel either by doing a straight cancel, saying there is an issue with the buyers address. This should be instant.

Or the correct thing to do is open a not paid case. After 5 days of non payment you can close it and they will get a black mark on their account. There is a small chance they could pay though.

It's up to you how to do it. You would be best waiting till it's resolved before relisting. Don't forget to block them so you don't have to deal with them again

I would open a NPB case. A couple of those will prevent them wasting others peoples time in future.

If they query it just say that was the only option to cancel the sale.

The problem with an NPB is that buyer can only close it by paying with paypal, which I assume the OP is hoping to avoid.

Personally after being messed about for so long, I'd let the non payment case run, but I'm a bit of a hardass!

If you proceed with the NPB, the buyer will get a strike and won't be able to leave you feedback (or you them).

If you change, feedback can be left and the buyer can be safe that their non payment this time isn't counted.
