Info used comparison site sent to accident helpline

Greetings all,

Like most of us I get 3 or 4 calls a week of this nature however last Fri shopping to renew the insurance I took a guess at an accident date usually just put the month but this was a specific date & only time I have done this.

10 mins ago I receive a phone call from accident help line about my accident on this date - so only 1 place this came from -

Boxes ticked as always - Im pretty astounded/miffed

Normal forget it ? Or what do you all think ?

And that is why I always put a false telephone number down when using comparison sites, 0123456789 seems to work fine. And no I don't get 3 or 4 calls a year let alone a week.

Did you actually read all the small print in the Terms and Conditions? I avoid the comparison web sites because they will sell your details on to anyone who wants them.
