how on earth do you put requests on seedy people. I am looking for some teasle seed but can not figure out how to put my request on the board!

well, there's a section "how it works" on the site, if you click on that it tells you what to do- looks like you just e-mail them the details of what you want and they put the post on the board. It also says you can contact them if you have any questions.

it's a forum for the gardening minded to farmers.

There is another called Allotments4all that has been going a long time and they too have a swop section. A lot of knowledgeable gardeners on there too.
