Help to Buy ISA - when to close?

I'm waiting to exchange on a shared ownership house and I have a Help to Buy ISA. I'm hopefully going to exchange this week and complete on January 4th.

I have more than a 10% deposit to put down without the ISA, so I don't need it for the exchange. I pay into it on the 1st of each month and I'm hoping to put another £200 in on the 1st of January (as it can only be done once monthly) to get the most out of the government bonus, but that means I'd have to close it on the 3rd, one day before completion, since the days before are bank holidays and weekends.

As I don't need the ISA for the deposit, is this possible? Or will I have to close it beforehand, missing out on that last £200 payment in?

Our solicitor asked for our statement at exchange, it then took about a week for the bonus to be claimed and it was deducted from our completion statement.

If you don't need/want the money to come off of any of the bills, then I imagine you can do it just before completion but as I've not been in that situation I'm not too sure. You're solicitor will probably ask for it when it is needed.
