    You can buy a used old style Nokia on eBay from 99p upwards...dozens of them. If you expect to get a loan phone during a repair period, then you need to take out a business contract, not a consumer one.
    And how do you think people called ambulances before they had landlines?
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
