We had a gas leak last night and had to call the emergency team out to make the supply secure and once done we called BG for an engineer to attend. When I rang the earliest app. was this pm. However when I explained my age they were willing to send someone out late at night.
However we said we could manage without any hot water or heating until today. The engineer arrived at 08.30am and found the problem was a connection to the hob cooker. He was very efficient and quickly had the supply back on line.
We have had the 400 cover for about 5 years now and cannot rate the service high enough. Just brilliant.

We have boiler, plumbing and electric cover and is £30 a month and that figure has hardly moved in 5 years. Only because every year I negotiate with them.0 -
Ditto, had to chat after the last recent "renewal quote"

Ditto here as well.
They will first ask if you want to pay an excess for a lower premium.
However, there is a magic word that will send your premium into a tail spin.
