                    Hi Guys
I need to convert an AVI file to a playable DVD. I used to use ConvertXtoDvd http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/, however when I bought a new laptop, I couldn't find the registration key email for the program. I begrudge paying £34.99 again, and wondered if there were any alternatives?
Thanks in advance

What is the cost? I have downloaded the program, it says "unicenced home use only".....It is obviously for home use, but do I have to buy the licence, what happens if I don't, does it leave a watermark?Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0

Have you checked your DVD player to see if it will simply play the avi? Many will - usually marked as DIVX players although they handle a whole load of codecs and video containers.
Alternately what about your TV? Many have rudimentary video player capabilities.0
