    No idea!
But quite the easiest way is to have 2 favourite supermarket's internet saver a/cs. That way you can set up a DD from each.
To get the interest at BOS 2 x DDs need to go out every month. If they are inactive , then bye bye interest.

Ahh, I have 2 current accounts with that supermarket. Can i make up both of the DD's with this or just one DD? I've just opened a saver account with them and used it to add a £1 monthly DD from my BOS vantage account to my new saver account. Is there some way to do this twice to cover both DD's?

You mentioned having two saver accounts, do you have to do it with two different types of saver account with that supermarket you mentioned?

Think I found it, needed 2 savings accs.

You only need one saver account, you need to follow the process twice, do not re-use the payee when setting up a second instruction.

So my new BOS Vantage account is open with the money in it. But DD's are not active yet. Does anyone know if I will currently be receiving interest on the money? The DD's won't be active for around a week, will that mean the interest does not begin adding to the monthly interest total yet?

Oh, I set up an internet saver acc and an instant access saver account. I doubt it matters? But anyway, I can just close one of these and do it all using a single saver account then?

You will be accruing interest. They'll pay it on the second working day of January if and when they're happy you've paid 2 different DD mandates during the calendar month of December.

If you're a risk taker, yes. Are you?

Why would it be a risk to close the instant access account and have the DD's all come from the internet saver account?

Others have mistakenly set up their two payments on the same mandate. That can't happen if the two DDs are on two accounts.

Of course, if you never make mistakes there is no risk :)

Attention to detail is important, like saying being sure not to say RBS when you mean BoS for example. ;) OP, you have the account set up. Why close it?...use it...you never know when 2 will come in handy!
