I have an excel spreadsheet with temperature data taken every 15 minutes over 7 days and trying to display it as a graph but the variation of the temperature does not seem to be big enough to get a meaningful graph.
The temperature varies from 14 deg C to 26 deg C in .1 deg increments with the time in column B (every 15 mins) and the temperature in column C (14.1 14.2 to 23.9 then down again) but the graph is too flat, it hardly shows the peaks and troughs.
Any ideas how I can get a more meaningful graph?
Excel 2010.

Create your graph and then double click on the axis containing the temperature (I used the vertical axis) Change the minimum temperature to 13 and the maximum to 26 (don't let Excel set it to auto). This should give you a more meaningful graph.0

As above ... but to add - you don't say what type of graph you're trying to use.0

I've just created an Excel line chart using a few sample figures in the range mentioned and by default it set the vertical axis limits to 0 and 30, which seemed to show the variation well enough. Le_Kirk's suggestion will magnify the differences but obviously will need to be reset if you have figures outside the suggested limits.0
