I have just noticed that my laptop webcam light was on - which implies that my webcam was in use
I have now, disabled it - the light is off
I have checked the Event Viewer to see if the webcam is mentioned - but I can't see any.............
Any advice welcome.
I am running a Malwarebytes scan now !!
Update :
nothing picked up.....

Gaffer tape over the lens together with a tin foil helmet will help you avoid the man/aliens/evil hackers/etc.0

Surely though - if a hacker has access to a webcam - he will also have access to the rest of the files on the device ?kwikbreaks wrote: »Gaffer tape over the lens together with a tin foil helmet will help you avoid the man/aliens/evil hackers/etc.

Remember, that same hacker might also have taken control of your computer's microphone and is listening to everything you say...0 -
