How to sort out electricity for outdoor Christmas lights?

A bit presumptive that a set (or sets) of lights installed will be SELV and not some !!!!!!!ised system!!

Just look at some responses, thin wires fed via window, buried below a bit of gravel, no problems so far......tzzap....oops to late!:eek:

In fairness I should have stated that they will more than likely be SELV. But I agree all sorts of shenanigans do go on and that could be too much to hope for!
