Lost engagement ring - fianc!e not on insurance

Hi,
I have a question regarding engagement ring insurance.
I have a insurance for my fiancee's wedding ring under my name and she is not in the insurance policy documents.
She has now lost her ring: will this be covered given that the insurance is under my name only?

Check the definition of "you" or "family" in your policy book; this would normally be covered as long as you're living together.

are you sure she lost it and not 'dropped' it in the local pawn shop?

It's her ring, she should've insured it.

If you bought insurance through the jewellers when you bought it, I imagine their policies are generally well equipped for situations like this.


As above, the wording in the documents you have got are quite vital.
