Can 2 Barclaycards be combined and consolidated into one?

Good Afternoon,
Today I received an email that I have been accepted for a second barclaycard! I got the platinum one with 0% purchases and 0% BT for 25 months. I have already a Cashback barclaycard which I use regularly. My question is if I can consolidate both card into one ...so that I have only one barclaycard with one limit. Another thing is that the cashback card has a higher APR than the platinum because it was the initial card before (34.9%)...while the new card has an APR of 25,9% on purchases after the period of 25 months.
So will I be able to consolidate them...and if yes which one will have at the end and what APR?
Ideally I would like to keep the new one as it has the offer for 0% purchases for 25 months...but is this possible? if Anyone knows about it?
Cashback card---> 1200£ limit with 600£ balance on 0% until May 2016
New Platinum card---> 1000£ limit
Thank you in advance!

Why do you want to consolidate them? I'd keep both.
I think the process for what you are describing as consolidation is that you could move any unused credit limit from one to the other and then close one of them down. I can't see that working for you, as you are carrying a balance on the cashback card and you wont be able to balance transfer from one Barclaycard to the other.
Use the 25 months 0% on purchases for expenditure, making minimum payments and use the money you are saving to pay off the cashback card.0 -

I hadn't thought of keeping them both to be honest...but I guess you are right...because I have a balance on the cashback card they won't transfer the balance!
I will try at least to put them in to the same online account..because now I have two different login IDs...0 -
Isn't the interest on the balance more than the cashback?0

The cashback card is meant for customer that pay in full every month, thus benefitting from the cashback % and therefore the APR will be a bit irrelevant If used that way.
They do still offer cashback and spend deals at 0% for X months on the cashback card, and you look like to have used one of those deal.
As other have said, Barclaycard will not allow you to balance transfer from one card to another of theirs, however even if they allow to merge the two cards into one as you described (cashback merged into the new platinum one) having done a product transfer before, I guess you will carry over the £600 until may 2017 at 0% onto the new card and you could then use the rest of the credit limit for the new offer you have. Therefore will be better to have the two separate card anyway.
Do merge the two accounts into one online account though. I have multiple cards with one log in. When applied for my last one, HHonors, it just appeared in my existing account, so not sure how you managed to get issued with a new online account details as well...0 -

Thanks a lot for your time to answer! Yeah that's what I will do...I will keep the two cards separately and I will merge the two login IDs into one...so that I can have everything in one place!0
