Searches on Noddle

I have 5 searches from insurance companies and Capital One in the "others searches".

I know these aren't searches I made. Why would companies be searching on me? My car insurance is with Admiral and has been since August.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ID checks, pre-marketing checks etc. Nothing to worry about.

Me too. The most recent search was a credit comparison quotation from Capitalone. Other insurance quotation comparisons from Admiral and ID checks from Virgin Money and O2.

End of the year when I review and renew insurance and financial products and search on comparison web sites. Never specifically searched any of the companies that searched me though except for the ID checks.

When did you give CapitalOne permission to run a check? Have you ever had a relationship with them?

I have a CC with Capital One although its not used much. Just now and then. The other 3 insurance companies all did their searches on 18th November, are they allowed to do searches on me? Will that show to other companies?
