what to do next - fistral beach

Hi, thanks for letting me join. I have read the newbie section and various threads on here, but I cannot find a situation same as mine, so would like some advice please.
I received a parking fine from smart parking regarding staying over the time paid for on Fistral beach on 22 aug 16. I appealed via their website showing the ticket I have purchased. They said I was 10 min late buying a ticket, and roughly 10 min late leaving. When we entered the carpark, we couldnt find a space straight away. when we did, my husband purchased the ticket. Upon leaving the carpark, my exit was blocked by a delivery truck, so it took a while to exit the carpark. I had a valid ticket all the time I was parked in a parking bay. I explained this, in the appeal, and heard nothing at all from them until I got a debt recovery letter demanding £160 from DRP. I rang DRP to say i was still waiting to hear from my appeal. They told me it would have been rejected as thats why they had written to me. I went back to SMart parking telling them I hadnt heard from them about my appeal, and that I wanted the chance to appeal to POPLA. The said they rejected my appeal on 04 October and basically they say i need to speak to the debt recovery company. Debt recovery company says pay or they will instruct client to take me to court.

Do i need to send a letter to anyone or just ignore? I've read the template letters, but they dont quite fit with my situation. i think i have probably already admitted i was driving. I dont know who owns the land. I was not given opportunity to appeal to POPLA. And I definatley did not see a sign saying parking fees where due for all time physically on the carpark as opposed to in a parking bay. If this is the case, why dont they have a barrier method?

Not sure what to do next, but really dont have £160.

Any advice as to what my next move should be would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kathy

there are dozens if not hundreds of similar threads about FISTRAL BEACH and SMART parking on here, plus the previous Parking Eye ones too

when SMART rejected the appeal they should have provided a POPLA code, to be used within 28 days

if they did , then you missed the boat and are in debt collector land , which is up to 6 years of ignoring drivel from DRP and others

post #4 of that NEWBIES sticky thread tells you about this DCA land , and about ignoring DRP and ZENITH

there are THOUSANDS of posts on here about DRP and debt collectors , the replies are always the same

    ie:- IGNORE

come back IF you ever get an official LBC or an MCOL from Northampton

they dont have the barrier methods so they can reap greater rewards from those trapped in their honeypots
