Council Car Parks.

Hello All,

My first thread ... I'm reading a lot about 'Private Parking' but what about 'Council Car Parks', I received a council PCN through the post (over stayed) lost my appeal and now have to pay £50. I thought this car park was private land, no reference to council on signage ... in fact there was no entrance sign at all ... no terms & conditions, anything I can do.

If you "lost" your council appeal, there is a further appeal to an adjudicator - one for London and one for elsewhere.

Better off at Pepipoo.com as this site is only for private tickets

Most Councils reject most first appeals. That does not mean you have to pay and rarely means you have no case, it just means they hope you will be tempted to pay rather than appeal further. If there is no discount being 'offered' any more then certainly it is a no-brainer to appeal further, to the London Tribunals (formerly PATAS).

It would be £100 in a private car park!
