Also if it auto logs in, manually log out and then select the WiFi as mentioned above. You may need to be in the same room as the inverter. Then open the app again and choose local connect.5KW solar, Lux 3.8KW inverter, Uhome 2400 LPF x 6, SOLIC 200 immerser diverter, Leaf 62Kwh, Skoda Enyaq 85, Ohme home charger, Zappi v2.1, Eddi, Import: Octopus intelligent ; Export: Octopus Energy Export, 15KW biomass pellet boiler - Windhager., Home Assistant0

I've posted in the Energy thread, but are there any recommendations for "non" smart tariffs for on-grid charging of batteries? We have 9.6kw battery storage that we now can't use Octopus Go to charge at night, thanks to a poor WAN signal for our Smart Meter. Current PV generation in mid winter is poor eg, yesterday was 0.5k.1

Would it be possible to get an economy 7 meter and go onto one of those tarriffs? (Do they even still exist? Haven't heard about them for years).Bbb21 said:I've posted in the Energy thread, but are there any recommendations for "non" smart tariffs for on-grid charging of batteries? Are you in the north or or central/south regions. Is it poor 2G or poor radio signal?Bbb21 said:I've posted in the Energy thread, but are there any recommendations for "non" smart tariffs for on-grid charging of batteries? I've replied to you over in the Energy section, but E7 will still be beneficial (even if nothing like as much as Go).Bbb21 said:I've posted in the Energy thread, but are there any recommendations for "non" smart tariffs for on-grid charging of batteries? Current E7 off-peak rates are around 15p/kWh.

So with E7 you can load-up the battery with, say, 8.6 kWh of power at around 15 p/kwH. If that will cover your daytime usage then all is good. Bu it you are a heavy daytime user of electricity (as I am in winter) then there will come a point at which your E7 savings don't compensate for the extra you pay for your daytime electricity.Reed1

The SCs are almost identical. Ignoring losses, you only need to use 25% of your electricity at the night rate for E7 to be cheaper. (With losses it might be closer to 50%, YMMV.)I don't know about Bbb21 but I'm using around 10kWh/day at present.N. Hampshire, he/him. If anyone is still on Octopus Agile (you brave souls) and has a battery, tonight is your chance to reap the rewards. With Storm Dudley in the area, Agile is below 20p/kWh for eight straight hours and below 10p/kWh for four (split in two parts, sadly). It's even below 1p/kWh in two half-hour slots.

My luxpower has suddenly stopped showing my car charge when it comes from the grid but still shows battery charge and house use. Hi All,my first post on this forum and looking for some advice:Has anyone had experiences (good or bad) with the LUX squirrel pod battery controllers. I am contemplating having 2 of these in parallel to get over the 3.6KW limit on the standard LUX box. It also has the capability of hunting for the lowest tariffs on Octopus Agile. Thanks and regardsMike0
