On-grid domestic battery storage

Cannot find my posts.. but I bought an inexpensive battery reading cable from Amazon to use with Batteryview which did not work... I then bought the proper cable for about £40 including delivery which also "DID NOT WORK" straight out of the box, I had to install drivers and some software SO maybe the cheaper cable does work with the correct drivers etc installed.  My son has butchered the original to try getting it to work so cannot try out my theory

Prices have been going down, maybe making way for the new 2000c model?

WOW, that's cheap! If I did not already have three and had more space in the under stairs cupboard...

That price change is very recent though,  its not been like than for long, but yeah maybe we are finally seeing the price go down.... everyone else on ebay hasn't got the message yet though

Watching YouTube items on batteries and solar I get the distinct feeling we are still paying well over the odds for kit.

For those of us with a smart meter and Octopus .. they have now added the wheel of fortune for us. Previously it was only offered when a meter reading was submitted

Unfortunately, not for all of us. I found out on Friday that it had been added to some accounts, but not ours.

I did query it a few months ago when I had my smart meter installed.. dont worry too much I have never "won" anything
