It's not enough for my house, but plenty for most houses
I consider myself a light to normal user about 4500 kWh a year and its not enough for me 365 day a year.. however it does allow cover almost every day.. using GO to fill them in winter. Today I have generated 14kWh.. and exported 8.3kWh... so done myself out of 40p... its all a game

How long should i expect my batteries to last if they are being recharged each day ? I think mine says they take 6000 recharges so lets say 3000 days is just over 8 years and then thats to a degraded level they’ll still work just not at full performance right ? Obviously eventually they will not hold any charge but when would that be ?——-

That said, EV batteries weren't expected to last more than 10 years or 100,000 miles but many have including a Tesla that had done over 400,000 miles.
Even if your batteries drop to say 70% after 6000 cycles, they'll probably still be useable for a good few years after.
Might also be possible to swap out any bad cells giving the whole pack a new lease of life.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go1 -
what I really want is a nuclear battery that fits in my hand and flying cars ....
... Question How long did it take for you to get a smart meter from Octopus or did you already have one ? Ive just now gone onto octopus but now need them to fit it but it says all bookings in my area are full but I then asked to be placed on their priority list, Which says they will try to get to it within 14 days.

Really good company to deal with though, any issues are usually sorted pretty quickly.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go2 -
ah thats great to hear, I worry as I'm up in the far north and things take just a tad longer. Will be nice to get export power returns as well as that will at least pay for the daily standard charge.——-

So it's not looking good for the battery.
Connected 2 of my 50% charged pylons at 49v, all good.
As soon as I switch on the 3000, both the originals go to fault mode and battery drops to 12v oddsdeclining until its under a volt.
I've left them for 10 mins, no difference.
It's less than a volt on its own, I reckon its went short circuit.
But gonna search for any ways to revive the battery.West central Scotland

Can't think why someone would try and sell it knowing there was a problem though, bound to come back to bite them ??
If you can get hold of a serial cable, the software might at least tell you if it's just one or two bad cells, or worse.
What voltage does it read on it's own ?

Watching with hope that you find issue and can fix maybe ask seller to give you cash back if you do fix or just ask for full refund——-
