I'm still paying £1.60 OD PPI every month. Surely this has to be accepted? Like others I was told in had to pay it in order to get the account.0

Accepted for what?
If you want to complain, do so, just having it is not a miss-saleSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

If it was missold you may have a good case. Though I'm curious, it's mostly the packaged bank accounts that people were told they had to have in order to have an account at all, I've not really heard much of people stating that they were required to have OD PPI to have an account. Not doubting you, just saying it's unusual.0
