ESA Query Amount

Hi all

I have a query that I wonder if anyone can help with. I applied for ESA on behalf of my daughter in June this year and as yet, she has still not been placed in a group. She is currently receiving £57.90 per week.

During this period, I was asked to apply for PIP for my daughter. She currently receives middle rate care and low rate mobility. At the weekend, we received confirmation that she will qualify for enhanced rate of daily living needs for an ongoing period and mobility needs of £57.45 for an ongoing period.

A day after we received a letter from ESA stating that from 24 December she will receive £73.65 per week.

I'm confused as £73.65 doesn't appear to be a standard figure and I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this please? I have tried to call them this morning but due to the nature of my job, it's impossible for me to hold on waiting for an answer.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Seems correct to me.

She should be receiving £57.90 ESA - single rate for under 25s plus the Enhanced Disability Premium of £15.75 as she is receiving the enhanced rate of daily living for PIP.
