Do video sharing sites like yt etc reproduce video recordings in Dolby 5.1?

If HD clips are uploaded to yt etc with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, are these reproduced in that format online or is it strictly stereo with matrixed Dolby Pro Logic II Surround audio?

YouTube actually stores a number of formats for the same upload. I've no idea if it does what you want but if you upload a sample then download it using a decent download tool such as Jdownloader2 you'll be able to see everything that was stored and can be downloaded/streamed.

I just grabbed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ed2MWzMilZs which is described as "Elysium Trailer 4k and Dolby Surround 5.1" but my download only shows the audio as stereo. A comment on that clip says 5.1 is NOT supported by YT and suggests alternatives
