    I almost started a thread on CCC about this a couple of days back, this is one of my pet hates of comping and really wisses me off :(

    Christmas comps that end in January
    Easter comps that end in May (or Good Friday)
    Even comps that end on the special day
    Mothers Day comps that end on Mothers Day

    Especially when they say in the Ts and Cs the prize will be delivered within 28 days

    Totally agree on competitions ending on or after the date of the event they are meant to be for. Mother's day isn't too bad as my mother's birthday is the week after. The Christmas hamper ones are especially annoying - why do I want festive food in January?

    BTW am not around for the long weekend so any questions for the newt ask today or hold until I'm back.

    In case anybody is worried that I might be giving away on social media that I'm not at home the house will be occupied by at least one son, a large dog and of course, the newt. You don't want to mess with the newt....

    Tenth Anniversary 500 Posts Name Dropper
    have had confirmation of my Glasgow weekend win!! :D Still can't believe it!! have never won anything like this :rotfl: I have no idea how much it's worth.. lol i guess i best get googling everything that's included to see how much it would all cost :rotfl:

    haha well, after looking i think i will put in the final value after i've been because it's gonna depend on what kind of room we have etc! which they haven't yet specified! but looking at the first class rail prices and the cheapest room with B&B i'm pretty sure it's gonna be over the £500 mark especially with the meal and the tour thingey... so will cross off £500 and over, and will cross off G for Glasgow and April :D
