    Translation for the uninitiated

You are a cheeky lady. If you can"t comprehend what I am speaking about, then it isn't my fault, and possibly you are just a little simple minded(only joking). Anyway, my young friend, I am really hungry, and would like to eat some good food, possibly a sandwich or a crumpet. But this is not getting anything done, so goodbye for now.

The newt would like to point out that crumpets and pikelets are not the same thing.

Pikelets are welsh and the name is the anglicised version of ‘bara piglydd’.

Crumpets are cooked in a ring thing whilst pikelets are freeform or splob shaped.
Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.

Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change

Crumpets are round holey bread like things that you put in the toaster and when they are hot you put butter on them (only the uncouth eat margarine :( )

No idea at all what the pike y thing is
(OK can't say that, no idea why not!!)

Off to find today's delights in the comping world
(You have to add something at the end about comping or we will be in trouble for being off topic ;) )

Just won 50p on quidco :T Feel slightly ridiculous about how excited I got that I can tick off under £1 and Q today:)

PS - Pikelets are much nicer than crumpets!

And pike y is an offensive term for a traveller.

I know that to many pikelets and crumpets are different species, but here in the Black Country I was brought up on pikelets (with butter) which have since had a name change to crumpets.

To follow Mansey's advice, I will say that haven't won anything today, and I'm not likely to, as later on I've got 3 granddaughters coming to stay for a couple of days, so will be kept rather busy.:j:j:j
But then again, I may well get to fill in

    (50) I have gone a whole day and entered NO competitions
    (Tell us the date)

You could also fill in Sunday win or instant win, if you haven't already.

Thanks, but I did those two with £1 from quidco a couple of weeks ago :)

At the moment quidco is the only thing I seem to be winning on :(

    Woo hoo 50p :rotfl:
(Your not the first to get excited by a 50p win, this challenge does strange things to folks :rotfl: )

    So what is a Pikelet?
Do you put butter on them?

Yeah the "P" word is a gypsy/hawker, I didn't realise it was offensive though :o
(Another common word oop here for the scrap metal collectors who come around most days)

Don't be spending your 50p win all in one go :D
