    My cat is far superior (by his own estimation anyway) to any dog or newt that might try to rule the challenge;).

    We did indeed enjoy our date night. The opera was long and there was lots of singing. We dined before at a lovely fish restaurant where Mr Bot and I shared a turbot, which with hindsight sounds odd.

    Apologies to Fizz, the newts words not mine.

    Both so true, cats definitely rule the roost. We once had a really soppy red setter, and brought home this tiny, 8 week old kitten. The setter huddled in the corner, trembling and quivering, the kitten strolled up to him, patted him on the nose, and ruled the household from that day. They did become very good friends, but cat was always boss.
