Not had a holiday for 10 years? I'm not sure I could manage that. Choice or necessity?
I love safari parks! used to go to the one at Windsor when I was a small Bot, before they built legoland on the site.
A bit of both I guess......I did travel quite a bit during my gap year, so mustn't grumble as I had a great time and spent my (already modest) savings! Since then, a strict student budget (7 years of uni!) and periods of illness, have meant it's not something I've been able to afford. Just only now starting to build savings back up, but lots of other things I need them for, so a holiday would feel too frivolous :rotfl: I live in hope of winning one though0 -

7 years at Uni? Time to get a proper job as I tell my little Bots (not that they pay any attention at all). Holidays don't have to be expensive just away from where you are - if you know what I mean. Are you a BIG bot now :rotfl:

I totally agree with Mrs Bot, I myself could not fly or go across the water because of my panic attacks but we have several cheapie UK holidays per year.
We did The Sun holidays £40 for a week for me and the hubby in a big static caravan (although the greedy gits did charge us an extra £80 for the dogs)
The caravan site we just stayed on was £15 per night per unit and was immaculate. (and only 20 minutes from home)
The Lakes is a bit more expensive, but prices almost half once you get near the end of September.
You can get Travel Lodges for £15 per night (but usually £29)
We stayed in a Wigwam in Northumberland last year that was £30 per night.
Check out Wowcher and Groupon lots of special offers on holidays in the UK and abroad.
Can you drive?

We've just had a weekend of sorting the house and garden out really then been to Harrogate today for a splash in the outdoor pool.
Wins wise I'm doing ok and I'm on about £390 out of my original £750 target so hopefully will meet my target although not expecting much from twitter for the time being as it's being a turnip at the minute.
We don't really do holidays either. We've had a night or 2 away visiting family down South but don't really class that as much of a break lolYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

Yep, all 7 years of uni were required for the job I wanted, plus I then worked for free to get the relevant work experience 12 month placement required for the next part of the qualification. Still got one part left to be fully qualified, but at least I get paid for that, so I do have a "proper job"!0 -
