So what have you been up to this week/end, what are you looking forward to next week.
And most importantly have you had any wins?

We were away in the caravan Weds/Thurs finding out what everything does and what we forgot, the weather was fab until we took the awning down on Friday morning and the heavens opened and we got soaked.

Last night we went to see Kynren (Google it and watch the trailer) it was absolutely amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. :j

Today will be washing and drying clothes, tidying up and grocery shopping to make sure son #2 has plenty to eat next week.

Monday we are off to The Lakes for a week, praying for sunshine. :D

I have had one win of a gents watch this week, very chuffed and hubby happy too. :T

Definitely need more of this positive attitude :D

I had a mooch round some charity shops yesterday, then my son came home to visit for a few days (he lives about 100 miles away at the moment, doing a placement year for university). Have been doing some gardening this morning in between entering competitions. Hopefully if the weather stays fine, we will have a BBQ later. I have three days off work next week to spend some time with my son. Still at £50/£500 of my August challenge, so hoping for a big win soon.

Mansey - I hope you enjoy your holiday at the lakes. I have never been to The Lake District. Would love to go sometime, although I am not able to walk much due to a disability, so would just be happy sitting at a pub admiring the scenery.

Enjoy your holiday Mansey, The Lake District is somewhere I'v always wanted to go but never been - too far away now with little ones.

Had an interesting week this week, my nephew got married on Friday, mid ceremony my 2 year old daughter, who looks totally angelic, managed to break free from daddy and pull on a curtain -
down came a pole and two ceiling to floor curtains came down with a crash. As if that wasn't bad enough, just as the registrar said to my nephew do you take this woman, she screamed out "NOOOOO"
    I was mortified :rotfl:

On the plus side, I won a £100 itunes gift voucher from Hyundai this week :j so that's my August win sorted, and "I" :j

    I'm home!!!

Have a lovely break mansey (could do with a holiday myself;)...)

France was still very french. The eldest master Bot even ate snails; I think this is going that one step too far even on holiday.

Came home to my candle ring win.

Waiting for Sainsburys to deliver food and I might then start the washing.

  • A holiday? What's that? Haha just kidding, my last holiday was almost 10 years ago, a distant memory! :D

Hope you have/had a great time Mansy (and anyone else here who has been on their travels) :)

I went to the World Athletics Championships yesterday (not a win, but the ticket was a present, so free for me!) :D

I finally have a win to report YAY!! Well, actually 2! (Insert comment here about buses etc.) :D

I won a cake mould from one cake making magazine and a cake stencil from a completely different cake magazine. Only 2 small items, but considering how long it's been since my last win, I'm actually pretty happy with them! :)

    Have a fantastic break mansey.
So glad you had a lovely time away Moneybot.
I love a good mooch around the charity shops, not that I'm very good at finding much treasure.
Thanks for sharing your story GPark, that sounds like a brilliant day :rotfl:

I spent yesterday at Woburn safari park for my late birthday celebrations, I've never seen a bear so close before, it walked straight in front of the car, we fed the birds and a monkey tried to steal my ring :rotfl:
First time at a safari park and had a lovely time, although very tired from it today.

No wins for me, although starting to give up with the lack of wins coming through, still need to get my Z win as well!
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.

Not had a holiday for 10 years? I'm not sure I could manage that. Choice or necessity?

I love safari parks! used to go to the one at Windsor when I was a small Bot, before they built legoland on the site.
