RBS to close half its Edinburgh branches

Think this is pretty much the shape of things to come. In the end we will end up with "mega branches", maybe only one or two in each city, which will deal with many many customers at once.

Just use the Post Office or switch banks to another that doesn't have a branch there either.

The Glastonbury residents managed to persuade Nationwide into opening an unprofitable branch in the village. No doubt it will also close in a few years time.
