    If you can get BT, then you can probably get the Post Office, Plusnet and John Lewis. Have a look on the comparison sites.

    Not necessarily as I can have BT for broadband the only other provider my exchange can supply is Sky.

    Your better of looking at Sam knows to see what providers are available at you exchange.

    This is completely incorrect. Samknows only lists LLU providers. If you are on a BT exchange then you can get your service from any of dozens of non-LLU providers, Plusnet being by far the biggest.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
