Problems with order from Game .

Hi , I ordered 2 x different playstation 4 bundles last week
for a fairly decent price .
I opted to click and collect but it gave me 2 different store locations , one for each item .
They were paid for in full at the time of order and I received an email saying that one had arrived and was ready to collect .
I have got this one in hand , but this is where the problems have started .
I chased the 2nd one up as had no confirmation , and it turns out the store they posted it out to has been closed down for ages , obviously I didn't realise this at the time of ordering .
A guy I spoke to over the phone promised they would honour the deal and send a replacement express delivery .
It's now been a week since it was paid for , I've spent over 2 hrs on the phone speaking to 3 different people , and now I'm being told it's not in stock (although the parcel has obviously been returned as they are now issuing a refund to my card )
I'm really miffed off as what was promised has now been withdrawn and I never agreed to the refund .
I just want the item I ordered as they were a good mix of games for my 2 son's .
There's nothing remotely as good value on the site now .
I was under the impression they would maybe even send a ps4 and the 2 games as seperate entities rather than the bundle , just to honour the deal .
However it appears I'm way off with this assumption , all I'm hitting is a brick wall when I'm complaining and a manager won't even come on the phone to offer a resolution .
Sorry for the long winded post but I'm fuming .
Has anybody got any suggestions ? I've even considered threatening to send the other one back .

Why would you cut off your nose to spite your face if this is such a fantastic deal?

If they are saying its no longer in stock then they need to put you back in the position you was originally in - IE refund.

You could look at going through the courts and claiming "loss of a bargain" - Depends how much time and effort you want to put into it.

I think you miss the point I mentioned where I was "promised" they would honour the deal , and seeing as it was there mistake sending the item to a store that no longer existed , I would hope they were good to their word .... infact , you don't work for them do you ? sounds like it :T

So one person tries to help you and you throw that at them.

Good luck with getting any more help.

Same old story, doesn't hear what they want to so accuses poster of working for the company.

I probably work for them now as well.

It's a genuine question , and there's always someone quick to pop up with a clever comment .

And then a load more who jump on the bandwagon when the op doesn't take lightly to their attempt at sarcasm .

And so was mine, which was if it was such a fantastic deal, why would you think about threatening to send the other console back?

If they haven't got the item, then a promise means nothing. Apart from going to their distribution center and asking to inspect it for stock, the only other option is what I originally suggested.

PS - No, I don't work for GAME. Although I did work for them 15 years ago in the Electronic Boutique days. Not that it has any relevance on what i've suggested.

And with an attitude like the OP's, I have no intention of offering help beyond saying if you search this site you will find all the answers you need.

I think you SHOULD send the bundle back for a full refund. They will then put it back into stock and refund you, they will then sell it for the higher price they are charging now and make more money!.

That will really teach them!. They will regret the day they messed with you!.

I was hoping they would try and avoid having to mess around with a return courier and admin etc , oh yeah , thanks again for another useless post , think this must be the 6th comment upto now , sorry must be my bad attitude , if I'd have taken the 1st comment on the chin and seen the funny side to his sarcasm I may have resolved this by now ..
