Thanks again

Your welcome mate, just to add some places even let you use their own cars so that also may be worth looking into. Thanks“People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. We want the biggest house, fanciest car, and we don't mind paying the sky high mortgage to put up that show. We sacrifice our biggest assets our health and time, We feel happy when we see people look up to us and see how successful we are”

Would it be prudent to finalise all my income/expenditure and approach an organisation such as StepChange Debt Charity?
I guess also, being currently unemployed, the charges will be less for setting up the DRO?
2 things in response to your 2 points above, advisors on here can answer general queries, but we will always push you toward the free debt advice providers who will go through everything with you and ensure you are informed on all solutions. StepChange are one of those, as are National Debtline and your local CAB.
If a DRO is the solution for you, the fee (charged by the Insolvency Service and not by the intermediary who works for the free charities as mentioned above) is always £90, no discounts for particular circumstances. I would echo what Fatbelly has advised however, that a DRO may not be as cut and dry as it may appear, as utility and CT debts, although in your name only, could be transferred to your wife after an order is granted, as the utility has been used by her too, and the CT is for her too.
Because of the issue of the risk to your wife, I would recommend you speaking to one of the 3 advice providers, and not relying on the simple online tools some of them have.0 -
You could look at trust funds for the water and energy and then an arrangement with the LA.
B gas energy trust (even if you are with another provider) and check your water provider (in my area it's united utilities trust fund).
I'd try that before dro as the creditors could just go after your wife as she can't go for dro due to the house making it a bit pointless.0
