Paypal Postage Labels

Hello,

when you get a postage label printed for you from paypal, for a recorded delivery, do you still have to go to the post office to get one of those orange tag thingies stamped?

I have asked both the post offices, 4 different clerks in my village and no-one seems to know. They have put them on anyway for now but am i wasting my time and would it be ok to just stick them in the post box?

is the "signature required" part of the label sufficient on its own?

thanks in advance

If you are using any sort of tracked or signed for service you must have it stamped by the Post office. Without proof that the RM have taken your goods any proof of posting is not worth the paper it is written on.

    Yep, Soolin is right.

You do still have to get your Orange receipt stamped (as this is your proof of Postage, if anything goes wrong).
Also, the post office have to swipe the Barcode on the label which is on your package - to ensure it shows up on the system.
