Car Insurance for a brand new driver

Hello, my name is Dylan and I'm currently 16 years old. I plan to learn to drive as soon as I'm 17 and to buy a car at 18. The problem is, I've got my heart set on a Porsche Baxter 2.7 (2001) which is hard to find any insurance deals for at my age. I realise that getting a cheaper, smaller car would be the sensible option, but does anyone have any advice on insuring the car I want? Thanks!

WHAT!!! Sulk until mummy and daddy buy you one.
Do you want the Childline number?
Must be torture that they wont buy you one.
Although my parents bought me a car when i was 17 they wouldnt buy me a house for Xmas so i left home thinking that will teach them to be mean.
As i slept in various friends spare rooms, their butlers wouldnt do my laundry etc. After 4 days i thought my parents had been taught a lesson and went back home. Bit of a shock to find the house sold and the neighbours said they had bought a boat and gone cruising for a few years.
They must really miss me.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

If you can afford a Porsche then surely you can afford the insurance that goes with it no?
Maybe get an insurance broker that would insure you in 2 years time. Preferably with your own money as you cannot depend on the bank of mum and dad forever."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Easy. What you need to do is deposit £500,000 with the courts and you don't need to buy insurance.0 -
There's no problem, Dylan when you buy insurance they go by your real age not your mental age.

What's a "Porsche Baxter"??All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0
