Warm front for parents

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere. My parents are on pension credit therefore would it be possible to apply for a warm front refund? I've just switched them to Co_op from Scottish Power so do I apply to Co-Op or HMRC or elsewhere?

Thanks
Catherine

Do you mean warm front or Warm Home Discount Scheme ?, the £140 off electricity bill ?

There are two elements of pension credit, Guarantee Credit and Savings Credit.

If your parents get the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit even if they get the Savings Credit element as well they should automatically get it, and already have been getting it - its validated by the DWP. If in doubt get in touch with the co-op alternatively ring the DWP WHD team in Blackpool direct on 0800 917 1003. Best of luck

Thank you Ritchie for your swift response - I will give the DWP a ring. I never know with my parents what they get so it is worth checking.
