Cap of gas fire and block flue vent

I have a gas fire which isn't operational so we are going to cap off the gas and block up the flue vent. It is a horizontal flue so a breeze comes in through it. We'll then replace the fire with an electric one.

I've been quoted £155 for all parts and labour. Its probably about 10-15 bricks to block up the outside for info.

Is this a reasonable quote?

Thanks

I am having exactly that done at the moment in my place (amongst lots of other stuff on a full modernisation job). My costs are £46 for the gas pipe and £87 for the bricking up with a vent being installed. So total of £133 for me.
