Valuation Less Than Asking Price - What To Do?

I grew up on a very quiet little street, but for the past five(ish) years have lived on or near various busy roads. To be honest, I have got so used to the noise that I don't think I could go back to somewhere quiet!
I made a mistake by going too rural when I moved up from London (born and bred!) as I couldn't stand the silence. I had to move again
I can do without the constant sirens, but I do like a bit of background noise to let me know I'm not alone!
You can't escape road noise in this town - we're between the junction of 2 motorways so if you don't have hustle and bustle noise, you have the drone of the motorway! :rolleyes:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

One negative for my selling (which I am hoping will be forgotten by the time I get it on the market): Some of my neighbours have complained to the local paper about all the noise we get at night from our local Tesco store. I am a very light sleeper, and there is no noise! Get the feeling my neighbours are just chasing compensation (but I'll being having words when I find out exactly who it was!).
Why not ring evironmental health and ask if they've done a check? Anyone can moan to the local rag about anything, but environmental health provide the evidence..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -

#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided
#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now
#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing0 -
H just called to tell me that we had a viewing today that we didn't know about  Our carpenter was there, sorting the front door. EA turned up at 6pm, waited, left; viewer turned up at 6.30pm and was shown around by my carpenter!? I should be peeved that my carpenter was there at the same time as a viewing but the guy had come from Cardiff to view!! I'm quite lucky, I think!
