Could this count as evidence for liability ?

The text content at least infers a liability but inability to pay repairs to the OP's vehicle in my opinion.
Plus if the geezer gets sacked how bothered would he be to come to court? Crack on is what i say.
In my experience, they tend not to sack couriers for their first accident, especially around this time of year when they're very busy.
They normally like to make them pay the excess, although the courier may decide to leave when the excess comes out of his salary0 -
Hi all,
Been some developments on this, so thought i would update:
I rang my insurance about the text message, and initially they just said i should speak to the 3rd party's insurance about it, however i said i would prefer that the advisor i was speaking to would speak to them - anyway she left me on hold for a bit, and then came back saying to screen shot the message and email it to contact at 3rd party insurance.
I did that, with info about the incident etc.
Hadnt received any feedback so rang 3rd Party insurance today - was advised that they had emailed my insurance just before Christmas - that they would pay for my damage " without prejudice"
So on the face of it a decent result ? Or is it ?
I will obviously chase up my own insurance, but probably wait till after New Years holidays etc now.
I have a feeling my vehicle would be written off because of cost of repairs versus value of vehicle, however i would prefer to keep it and buy it back if possible..
Will update when have spoken to my insurance.0
