PayPal problema

Hi
I'm hoping to get some help regarding paypal.
I had my account limited due to to a spike in orders from customers who had bought pre order items which aren't covered under PayPal policy.
I provided the info they wanted and my limitation was lifted only for them to limit it again 2 days later this time due to the amount of claims I'd had due to customers not paying attention to the listing or their PayPal receipt saying pre order, they were mostly closed by PayPal due to the pre order policy.
They have now told me they're closing my account and holding on to over £700 for 180 days. Everyone I've spoken to at PayPal can't understand why this has been done however they don't have direct access to decision makers. All my claims have been closed, 95% were not covered by PayPal and we had a couple of late deliveries all resolved.
I've asked for call backs, tried to complain and been ignored. I posted on their Facebook and they blocked me from commenting and posting.
How do I get my money back and are they allowed to do this.
Thanks in advance
Sarah

The rise in claims would make them think you are too high a risk to continue as a customer. Paypal really isn't the place for pre-orders in anycase.
It's in their terms that they hold funds for up to 180 days which you agreed to when you signed up.
You could try emailing their managing directors office in bullet points stating what happened and what you are going to do to ensure it doesn't happen again.0 -
There are frequent threads regarding Paypal on the Ebay board and it does seem it is difficult to get accounts reinstated.
It may be worth getting this thread moved there or PM soolin, one of the board guides, who may be able to give you advice.0 -
I'll move it over, I'm sure soolin or someone equally helpful will see it and respond.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Whats the expected delivery time of your pre-orders?
Selling on ebay or your own website or other?
Did your sale meet their guidelines on having the Pre-Order in larger font sizes than the regular text?
Their terms seem to say they will keep your pre-order money until the sales have been completed.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
