I've had a look in the article but I couldn't actually see which specific cards are affected by this change.

I've also done a Google search and nothing has appeared that's relevant.

Do we know if the Rewards are changing on the MBNA More Rewards cards (Visa & Amex)? And if so what they are changing to?

    Thanks in advance!

    The report says:
Five of the company's credit cards – four cashback cards and one reward card – are affected, though none of these is currently available to new customers.

    Teaser! Come on. Which ones?
  • Hi both, MBNA haven't disclosed exactly which cards are affected, though we're pushing for further info on this. If you're an affected customer, you'll be notified by letter - which have all been sent out.

    Thanks,
    MSE Rosie

    Thanks Rosie - that's great.

Hopefully I'll receive a letter or email from them soon if I'm affected - I'm presuming the More Rewards card will be a target for them as they have reasonable rates and rewards (in the current climate) and it looks like they've scrapped far less generous rewards on other cards they offer(ed).

Only time will tell I guess...

Might be needing to hunt for a new credit card in the New Year!
