As part of my new moneysaving campaign (the one where you spend £2000 to save a penny a week) I decided to get a hob kettle, and use gas at 1/4 the price of electricity- I reckon on saving around £15 a year at today's prices Anyway, I found one at Wilkos for £12.95, but they only do home delivery for another £4 :eek: If it…

As we have already paid for our LPG and wood, it feels like it's cheaper. Certainly if we are using the woodburner, the heat for boiling the kettle is free. We fill the thermos so as not to waste any unused boiled water.
