hi guys,
i am wanting to fit cladding to my daughters bathroom ceiling, but I have a problem.
I fitted my own fully tiled rectangular ceiling with no problems, but when looking at hers, she is wanting to tile the bath area on the back wall fully, with both ends to about 4 foot along the wall. When I come to fit the coving to the wall, it will fit to the wall, then come to a step when it meets the tiles. I hope I have explained sufficiently. Anyone have any ideas please?

Coving goes up first then tiles to the wall - up to the coving.
If they wall is already tiled or, like me the first time I refurbed a bathroom (you live and learn), you've stuck the tiles all the way up and now want to put up the coving then, yes, it's difficult to make a tidy job. In my case I simply cut the coving - so there was a step where it went over the tiles.0 -
sorry jp forgot to mention, the tiles are already on, but she wants them replacing, and the coving is the type that starts its radius level with the wall, so if the coving goes on first, the tiles will stick out and create a ledge maybe 10mm at the top.Does this change things or just tell her the step is all she could have.
thanks for the quick reply.0
