We attend multiple events that require parking in fields and it is recognised that the organiser should have a tractor on site for this very problem. Think I have been towed out three times this year all without fuss but it is a DAF 45/150 lorry :)

Did you approach the venue and ask for their help?

Yep. They told us a truck would eventually arrive to tow us, went home and left us there. :D

Brilliant haha. Very lucky that the guy in the Mitsi went past and saw our warning lights on.

    To me, breakdown is breakdown.

Well to me a breakdown is a vehicle immobilized by a mechanical/electrical problem/fault, not a driver induced situation. And if you get a flat tyre change it (if 1 comes with the vehicle.)
ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.

    And if it doesn't?

Mobile tyre fitter or recovery truck.

Still it serves no purpose discussing an imaginary puncture when you were stuck in a field.

...and if the car would have had a spare originally, and it's missing or unusable, you'll get handed a bill.

Just as you will if you bend the car. And if the aftermath of that bending is that the car is off the road in a field, the bill will be much bigger.

Thanks for your tip but as this is a money saving site I'll stick with the RAC.
RAC will not recover from a field either.

Don't worry I'm not daft enough to drive into a field I can't get out of.

So I'll still stick with them while they're free.
