Remember a lot of ebay users don't have a firm grasp of the English language. The buyer might not understand what they need to do. Perhaps send them an image showing them to remove the SIM card and insert their own one.

I have a car for sale on Auto Trader at the moment, it's non runner and I have explained what the issue is i.e. the engine needs major repairs so I am selling it for spares or repair. Two out of the last three days a non English first language speaker has phoned me to ask about driving car car away if I accept his offer!

Another good one is 'Cash on Collection only will not deliver' clearly stated on the listing.

They pay by paypal and expect you to post it!

Thanks soolin. I'll do that. The guys an utter clown evidently. I appreciate your point about him being perhaps 'technically illiterate' but this age is in his username. He's 33. Come on.... surely a 33 year old would know how to work a mobile phone.

How do you know a number in a username refers to his age . Surely this would mean you had to change your username every year ?

    I presume it's a year.

Nearly always, but not necessarily, the year of their birth. Could have been first grandchild's birth...

Doesnt mean its his birth year.

    His first kids birth
    when he got married
when his spotrs team last won something
    etc etc etc

( and you did originally say "age is in his username" , which isnt the same as "year is in his username" )

Neil claims he has already posted the item back to me..... Let's see what arrives. I'm half convinced a broken toy phone will arrive.
