Dyslexia and mis sold ppi

Just a thought but.....
When trying to prove PPI was mis sold do we have any grounds on the fact that the person who took out the loan and was told sign here, here and here actually has mild learning needs? (Although no paperwork to say it's dyslexia that is what he's been told it is)
Trying to fight a loan from Yorkshire bank from 2001!! We haven't got original paperwork

I think that would be doubtful.0

Would the learning difficulties been clearly apparent to the staff at the bank such that it would have been obvious that the person could not understand what he/she was agreeing to. If that was the case your point might succeed.0

Dyslexia is not a mild learning need, it's a disorder, not something that affects intelligence.
If they were intelligent enough to apply for a loan, and they signed the paperwork without asking what they were signing for, that is caveat emptor.
Better off complaining about single premium.
And you're not fighting anything. You're complaining a product was missold, there's no fight or battle, you either go on as you are, or you can spend £10 and send a SAR to see what info they have left. It was 15 years ago now, so they may have nothing. |They are only obliged to keep info as log as necessary, not forever, so be prepared that they have nothing, or delighted they have something.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
