Credit Card Usage

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a 0% on purchases credit card to pay off loans? (similar to a stoozing type theory). I am thinking of using this method to pay off my student loan and not accumulate further interest.
Also, I am considering conventional stoozing but aside groceries and fuel I do not spend much using my current credit card. Therefore, if I switch to a 0% cradit card, can anyone suggest a good way to accumulate a 'stooze' amount quickly without spending more than you normally do? Otherwise my current spending pattern may take some time to accumulate a good stooze amount.
You may want to re-read the above if I didn't make much sense!
Thanks and regards,
Jim

If you had a 0% card and paid off the student loan how would you pay off CC when the 0% period comes to an end? You may find yourself paying a lot more than the student loan 4.8%.
Some credit cards e.g. the MBNA stable and Eggmoney will allow BT to your current a/c from where you could pay off the loan. So if you find a suitable 0% interest BT card you could use this method.0
