Best Hotel Deals In Las Vegas

Hi
We are trying to get best deal possible for hotels in vegas next april 2006. We will be staying in 2 different hotels with a gap to bryce canyon in between. The first hotel will probably be Circus Circus. I cant find anybody other than virgin holidays who will book this hotel for april next year. Am I to early or am I missing something.

We have been to vegas a few times so I know where all hotels and things of interest are. I have also booked all the flights and accomodation for rest of hol in LA.

If you've been to L.V. WHY on earth Circus Circus and why don't you book your own hotels?
Go to the newsgroup alt.vacation.las-vegas and you will get so many tips there including the hotel discounts from LA Times. You can also go to the websites of the various hotels that you're interested in and book direct with them. They all allow you to cancel without penalty so if prices come down, you can cancel and rebook or if a particularly good offer comes on at another hotel, you can then cancel and book with them. Join all the clubs on the various sites.
    I hope this helps.

Circus Circus because my 10 year old likes it there,it is also much cheaper than the hotels around the centre of the strip.(some of which I have stayed in) the best, probably a choice between Alladin or mandalay bay. I have looked on the hotels websites and cannot find dates for more than a few months in advance. Can you tell me how I find the newsgroup please

Try the Imperial Palace Hotel. It is not one of the big name Hotels but is between Harrahs and The Flamingo Hotel and opposite Caesars Palace and The Mirage on The Strip. It is usually much cheaper than the rest and is just as good. We have stayed in a few hotels in Las Vegas and next time we are going to the Imperial Palace again.

Last year we stayed at the Luxor and found it quite difficult to get to the other hotels from there. We had a long walk, even just to get over to the other side of the road, to get a bus to go along the strip to other places.

    Yes! It was very nice.
I've stayed at most of the hotels on the strip and downtown too as I go a few times a year! :j

We fly to Vegas twice a year, but don't stay there now, it's ok for a few days, it's a most unfriendly rip off place, if you like to gamble, why not go to Laughlin NV, about 95 miles south,it's on the banks of the Colorado river, you travel between the casinos on water taxis, the Hotels are cheap and the locals friendly and you get entertainment if you want it. We are going back in October when it's a bit cooler, (Laughlin is 10 degrees hotter than Vegas.)

In April on the way back to Vegas we stayed at Primm, there are three casinos there and the Fashion show mall, also a roller coaster, it's about 35 minutes from Vegas on the I 15 (L.A direction )

Another nice place with casinos is Mesquite on the I 15 going out towards Utah there are some good golf courses there, and a nice trip from there is to Bryce and Zion Canyons in Utah.
